HA1 Task 2 – Artistic Styles





PHOTOREALISM

Photo realism is when artist attempt to recreate actual real photographs as if took with a camera but instead drawn, they study real photographs and analyse them, to every detail; until they have information to recreate the same image, using other means such as paint or the like.





Cell Shading  Also known as Toon shading is a type of non-photo-realistic rendering designed to make 3-D computer graphics appear to be flat by using less shading color instead of a shade gradient or tints and shades. 



The Process of Toon shading gives games characters a more smooth fluid, cleaner look, hence the name "Toon" Shading.

Abstraction is a very different style of art, it consists of using multiple colors on a screen, here are a couples of examples:

EXAGGERATION In art is when a picture is literally exaggerated with the features that it has, for example, drawing a person with a big head, so the head is drawn incredibly big to the point it doesn't fit on the neck, almost like a cartoon.
